Let’s start with some baseball in the Bay Area, shall we? America’s favorite past time. You actually have two options for baseball in the Bay Area. With a little bit of luck, you may even have the opportunity to take in two stadiums with one trip.

The San Francisco Giants are an MLB team playing in the National League. They play at the beautiful AT&T Park, which was actually named the number one sporting venue of the year.

If your trip doesn’t happen to coincide with a time that the Giants are playing, you aren’t completely out of luck.

AT&T Park offers behind the scenes tours so that you can get a sense of the team’s rich history.

Just across the Bay, you can venture on over to the American League. The Oakland A’s (located, of course, in Oakland) play just a short distance away at the O.co Colosseum.

The Oakland A’s are a solid team that will appeal to lovers of film as much as they will to lovers of baseball.

The team is the inspiration for the hit film Moneyball.
If you are hoping to take in some Bay Area Sporting events, either of the regions MLB teams make for an excellent place to start.
