Flying Kitchen Productions is a mobile multi-track recording entity located in San Francisco, CA founded by Boone Spooner and Michael Winger. Combining over 20 years of experience in the music industry, they have produced and engineered a wide variety of recordings ranging from full album productions to live recording of multi-day, multi-stage festivals. Their recording setup features 48 channels of Digidesign Pro Tools HD featuring Apogee converters and run on an Apple Macintosh G5. Flying Kitchen Production’s goal is to provide high quality professional recordings at a reasonable cost

Flying Kitchen has recently recorded several major label acts such as Keane (Interscope), Beth Orton (EMI/Astralwerks), Gomez (ATO Records), Feist (Interscope), John Vanderslice (Barsuk) and Steve Earle (Artemis) at some of San Francisco’s legendary venues such as the Fillmore, the Great American Music Hall and the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival
