St Mark's Lutheran Church

St Mark's Lutheran Church

Built on St. Mark's Square at the corner of Franklin and O'Farrell, the Urban Life Center was constructed at the same time as Martin Luther Tower in 1964. Originally intended to serve as a community center for the neighborhood and a senior center for the residents of Martin Luther Tower, the Urban Life Center is now an active hub for the administrative ministry of the church and organizations in the community.

In addition to housing the church offices of St. Mark's, the Urban Life Center provides meeting space and offices for rent, as well as hosts the following community groups and organizations.
