Tita's Hale Aina

Where else in the city can you sit in a quaint, cafe like setting and enjoy Hawaiian food. It's a step back into a plate of Kalua pig & cabbage, grilled mahi mahi, and coconut pie. It's really family style: rice, macaroni salad, etc.

No alcohol. Reservations for five or more.

TITA's is a peaceful island hideaway on the periphery of the castro... No tikki torches or boozy cocktails, but simple, healthy, authentic plates, a friendly clientele, and warm, unpretentious staff - most of whom hail from Hawaii. It feels like a family at Tita's.
